What can Lumo do today, and what's coming?

Ready now: setup from your website, your brand kit and photo library, voices and voice chat, the review queue, chatting with Lumo, templates, the Post kit and calendar, weekly exports for Metricool, Buffer and Publer, newsletters into Mailchimp or Klaviyo, more than one brand, and the 7-day free trial.

Built, and switching on with our pilot businesses: the automatic Weekly Drop and Create on demand.

Coming: posting straight to Facebook and Instagram (once Meta approves Lumo's access), WhatsApp messages about posts waiting for you, video and AI pictures.

Does Lumo post without me?

No. Nothing posts without your OK. You, or an admin you choose, approve every piece. Posts written in a team member's voice need a person's OK too, and nothing goes out under a team member's name unless they post it themselves.

What if I don't have a website?

That's fine. Tap "I don't have a website" and add your logo, colours and fonts by hand. Then answer a few questions about what you sell, rough prices, who it's for and how people reach you. Lumo shows you what it picked up, and you tick what's right. Adding a few of your social posts makes your voice stronger.

Can Lumo read my Instagram?

Not from a link. LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook don't let outside tools read their pages, so Lumo saves your link and asks for a few screenshots or pasted posts instead. TikTok and YouTube links can be read straight from the link.

Once connecting your Instagram business account is switched on, Lumo will be able to read your own recent posts to match your voice. How that works.

Will it make things up?

No. Lumo only writes facts, prices and numbers you've confirmed. It won't invent discounts, stats, reviews, customer stories or "only 3 left" pressure. When something's missing, it asks you, and the post waits. This can't be switched off.

What does it cost to run my email tool?

Lumo doesn't charge extra for newsletters. They go out from your own Mailchimp or Klaviyo account, so that tool's own plan and pricing apply. On Mailchimp's free plan, scheduling isn't included, so Lumo saves your newsletter there as a draft for you to send.

How do posts actually get posted?

Three ways: the Post kit (copy the caption, download the image, post it yourself and tap "I've posted it"), exporting your week to Metricool, Buffer or Publer, or sending your newsletter into Mailchimp or Klaviyo. Posting straight to Facebook and Instagram is coming for the Team and Pro plans.

Can my team use it?

Yes. Each person you invite sets up their own voice, so a post in their name sounds like them. Solo is for 1 person, Team for up to 5, and Pro has no limit. The free trial allows 5.

Can I pause?

Two ways. Pause everything in Settings stops all posting, reminders and new writing straight away, for when you need quiet. And Take a break pauses your plan for 1, 2 or 3 months, once a year, at no charge. Nothing is deleted.

How does the free trial work?

You get 7 days free from the day you sign up. Your card is saved when you choose a plan and only charged when the trial ends. We email you before the first charge. Cancel during the trial and you won't be charged.

Where is my data?

Your Lumo data is stored in the EU, in Frankfurt, Germany, kept separate from every other business. Some services that help us run Lumo are in the United States; they're all listed in the privacy policy. We don't sell your information, and we only use AI providers whose terms say they don't train on your business's data.

What happens if I cancel or delete my account?

If you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for, then you have 60 days to view and export before everything is deleted. If you delete your account, the business is locked straight away and deleted for good after 7 days, with a chance to undo in between.
